Zone 4 Chairperson
Formosa & District Lions Club
Marianne joined the Formosa District Lions Club in 2005.
She was president of the club in 2009-10 and has served on many committees.
She was the Out-Going Youth Chair for 3 years and helps with Vision and Hearing Screening.
Marianne and her husband Jim, have hosted more than 30 students through the Lions Youth Exchange program, farm programs and school programs for students studying abroad.
Marianne is a Melvin Jones Fellow, has received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Award and a Community Champion Award.
She and her husband Jim, of 43 years, have 2 daughters and 2 sons, all married, and they have 12 grandchildren.
Zone 5 Chairperson
West Grey Durham Lions Club
Ron is a charter member of the West Grey Durham Lions.
He has been president of the club on two occasions.
He is presently a director in the club and is involved with several club committees.
Ron is a retired elementary teacher and has been married to Bonnie for over 45 years.
They have three children and five grandchildren. They enjoy watching their grandkids taking part in activities.
In his spare time he is one of the icemen at the curling club during the winter months and can be found on the golf course during the other months.
Zone 6 Chairperson
Grand Valley Liions Club
Rosie joined the Grand Valley Lions Club in 2016.
She has been on the Board of Directors and this past year was Club President.
She spends her summer taking care of the trailer park.
Rosie and her husband Dwayne married in 2004
She has 2 grown children, and 2 grown step children. They enjoy spending time with their 3 grandchildren.
She has been working as a school bus driver for the last 9 years and looks forward to many more years of transporting children safely back and forth to school.
